Kyoto Free Pass – Every Transportation is Included (Almost)

Kyoto will provide “Kyoto Free Pass” this year for limited time period from December 7th 2013 to March 23rd 2014 as they have done before.

Unlike other passes, this card includes almost every transportation method in Kyoto, except for taxi. The following trains and buses are included:

Kyoto City Subways (Karasuma Line and Tozai Line)
Keihan Line (Demachi Yanagi – Yodo)
Kintetsu Line (Kyoto – Mukaijima)
Hankyu Line (Kawaramachi – Rakusaiguchi)
Hankyu Arashiyama Line
Keifuku Line (Randen)
Eizan Line
JR (Kyoto – Kameoka (Sagano Line), Kyoto – Uji (Nara Line), Yamashina – Katsuragawa (Tokaido/Sanyo))

Keihan city Bus
Keihan Bus
Keihan Kyoto Kotsu
JR West Bus
Hankyu Bus
Yasaka Bus

This pass is available at Kyoto City Transportation Services (they have an office outside of JR Kyoto Station Karasuma side (Kyoto Tower side)), Information Center at Keihan Sanjo Station, Information Center at Hankyu Kawaramachi/Katsura Stations, JR Ticket Office at JR Kyoto Station, Kyoto Sightseeing Information Center on the 2nd floor at JR Kyoto Station, etc,. It costs 2000 yen/adult and 1000 yen/child.
