Kyoto International Manga Museum, which opened in 2006, is a popular destination for people from all over the world who love Japanese Pop culture, especially comics and anime. In fact, 10 % of visitors are from foreign countries.
And soon enough, the total will reach 2 million visitors, possibly on August 3rd to 5th 2014.
The lucky 2 millionth visitor will get some special presents. This fortunate person will receive an autograph of the director of the museum, Takeshi Yoro (ex-professor and a famous author), a year pass to the museum, the chance to take a picture with the mascot character, Mamyu and more.
For manga lovers who will be in Kyoto at the beginning of August, be sure to visit the Kyoto International Museum. This museum houses an enormous manga collection (in Japanese), along with some foreign language translated and manga related displays.
