Go to Kodaiji For Ghost Drawing Display

Are you in Kyoto now? And do you like extraordinary things? Then go to Kodaiji and enjoy the drawings depicting “Yokai” (ghosts)!

It is believed that there are hundreds of these specters wondering around Kyoto at night. “Yokai Hyakki Yagyo” is a procession of “Yokai”, and Kodaiji/Entokuin Temple will host an event where you can see these unique, mysterious legends as drawings.

This special display will be open until September 30th 2016. These drawings can be seen with the standard entrance fee. It is 600 yen per adult for Kodaiji Temple and Sho museum. If you want to see all of the drawings, you need to pay 900 yen for a ticket which includes Kodaiji, Sho museum and Entokuin Temple. It is open from 9:00 – 17:30.
