Go to Kyoto Station Underground for Artwork Display

If you are in Kyoto now, go to the underground shopping/dining center called “Porta”. Porta is the underground section of JR Kyoto Station.

There will be an area where the artworks about Kyoto created by a famous illustrator, Kenji Inagaki, will be displayed. It is a good idea to see Kyoto through beautiful illustrations after or before visiting the actual spots.

You can see his works from 11:00 – 19:00 (17:00 for the final day) during August 30th to January 11th. And it is FREE.

If you are hungry, let’s check out the dining area of the Porta as well.
