Are you in Kyoto now and looking for some special “Kyoto” foodie experience, then let’s try Kamogawa’s “Kawadoko”. Kawadoko means “river floors”. They are special floors above the Kamogawa River, that are provided by about 90 restaurants nearby that river. And these can be enjoyed only during Summer (until September 30th). This means that you only have less than 4 weeks.
Note that most of these restaurants only serve full course meals, which tend to be expensive. If you like something more affordable, read “How to Enjoy Kamogawa Kawadoko For Less Than 3000 Yen“.
