Kyoto Travel Starts its own Kyoto Tour Guide Service

We have exciting news today!

We, the Kyoto specialists behind this website are going to provide a tour guide service.

Our tour is not the kind with a big tour bus packed with more than 20 people sharing a single guide.
Rather, our tours will have only two to six participants and always use public transportation, and of course walk.
In my opinion, that’s the best way to see, feel and experience Kyoto.

Additionally, due to the size of the group, we can easily adjust the tour according to your requests!

Due to our schedule, we can only provide tours on Tuesdays (9:00 – 12:00) and Fridays (9:00 – 12:00/13:00 – 16:00 for the time being.

There are two courses; Standard and Walking.

Standard

As the name suggests, this course will follow a standard sightseeing path.

It’s a golden route with Kiyomizudera as the star of the show. It will also visit Kodaiji Temple, Yasaka Shrine and Gion. And of course, personal requested spots will be taken into consideration

The Walk

This course is going to make anyone who likes walking and exercising happy. As you can guess, there is a lot of walking in addition to seeing sites such as Ginkakuji Temple and Nanzenji Temple. Be sure to wear tennis shoes or running shoes.

The fee of these tours is the same: 5000 yen per adult and 2000 yen for a child from 5 – 13 years old.
